We are aware of Slough’s reputation but we also know how inaccurate it is.
‘Proud to be Slough’ is an initiative to improve the perception of Slough both within and outside
the town and create a sense of Slough being a sustainable community where people want to live and
work now and in the future. Characteristically this means a town that is active, inclusive and safe;
well run; environmentally sensitive; well designed and built; well connected; thriving; well served
and fair for everyone.
